.NET + Oracle

At work I wrote a small application that connects to an Oracle db and queries it after the user has selected certain fields. Its small, simplistic, and it works for me. Problem, no one that I installed it for has Oracle installed on their computer! Nevermind the fact that all the necessary DLLs to connect and retrieve data from Oracle were installed. No you must have the Oracle client. Maybe its me, but that seems rather annoying.
